The FOTOTALK project was a 6-week digital photography project funded by the Scarman Trust and delivered in collaboration with Vital Regeneration, for young people in London to increase their interest in digital technology. The aim of the project was to explore the potential of digital photography as a vehicle for communicating concepts and ideas.
The word URBAN was selected as a central theme for the participants to explore. The result was an array of personal artwork reflecting each individual’s interpretation of the word, a reflection of their realities, and revealed some very different to the viewpoints to the standard definition of the word.

Participants were also trained in the use of digital software, Adobe Photoshop, to enhance their images for presentation.
The final artwork was exhibited at The Beethoven Centre in Queens Park.
